Another brrrrr of a Colchester Park Run to start Saturday morning. It was bloody freezing by the bandstand ahead of the 9am start.
Super Mario was a bit of a boy.
Sadly he managed to box in the first 50 or so runners as he insisted on starting at the front of the race.
Super Mario finished towards the back.
But good effort, fella.
My official race time was 22’36 - almost a minute off a PB.
I might transport myself into Super Mario Kart - or whatever it is the kids play these days - and jog gently in front of them.
I picked up the Tourer bicycle whilst I was in town. It was a joy to ride towards the gym after the complete service.
The gym and the pool were both oddly empty. I grunted on the weights, and then put in forty lengths.
The spa and sauna were bliss. I fell asleep for half an hour.
Some channel hopping took place back at base with the curling and L******er Vs Stoke.
Curling. Bloody hell, etc.
And then the afternoon was all about the Moulton.
I’ve become a Moultoneer again. Chapeau! pic.twitter.com/TAYYPC4PEj

I brought it back to the bloody Estuary Wilds from S Ldn on Friday. Most of the afternoon was spent cleaning and getting to know it a little better.
I still haven’t got the chuffers what is going off with the four speed FW drum.
If in doubt, ride.
And so I did.
The plan was for a 30km gentle ride along the lanes.
8km in and I thought quit while you are ahead, Jase.
The forks hadn’t snapped, the Kojak tyres hadn’t punctured and I wanted a wee wee.
I turned around and cycled back along the exact same route.
It was a BEAUT of a ride. I wouldn’t trust it beyond 5km town hops though.
We watched Anna’s Blue Nose Boys Vs Watford early evening.
Football. Bloody hell.

And then I had work shifts all the way through until bedtime.
Where to ride to tomorrow?
