Another fuzzy head to start Thursday morning.
I’ve been pushing my luck a little on the Night Nurse and the 7am work shifts.
Hurrah for the highly irritating iPhone alarm that gave the good lady Night Nurse the rest of the morning off.

I’ve not been BOOZING, honest.
I finally managed to finish Daniel Cruz Tizon’s BUMPER Christmas Album podcast over breakfast.
It hasn’t been a chore in seeing off the Coffee Ponce of SW8; it’s just the level of detail and imagination requires some snacking in listening chunks.
Mr Cruz Tizon will be missed as he takes a sabbatical.
I cycled off rather nervously towards the gym. I saw the stretch of black sheet ice by the University just in time.
Whoops.
I’m still coughing and spluttering all over the shop. And so not a morning for lifting weights, or even swimming.
Instead I spent an entire hour arseing around in the steam room and spa to try and clear up my chest.
The afternoon work shifts ticked on by.
I had a spare half hour as the Estuary Wilds sun was doing the disappearing act. I legged it down to the woods to try and capture some shadows.
It was a hit and miss affair. My FAVE photo shoots though are the ones undertaken with a tight time schedule.
Straight in, straight out.
Done.
I had a run of work shifts all the way through to 11pm.
Alexa: play Bowie at the Beeb.
That will kill a couple of hours.
I had Mr Bowie, hot tea and a couple of cats sitting next to me.
Bliss.
I then switched to the All Winners from Gilles Peterson.
I know NOTHING of this track, but it has warmed me over the past few months.
Work tools were downed as the darts was ending.
It’s a funny old period these in-between days, right?
