Friday

Green water at the lovely lido first thing on Friday morning.

Whatever happened to my beautiful Brockwell blue?

Apparently two of the three pumps are playing silly buggers. Two outta three ‘aint bad, etc. But one more down and we are DOOMED!

I had a little extra time on Friday morning to splash about in the waters of Lake Brockwell. Twenty lengths were ticked off before 8am.

The appearance of @mutley69 inspired me midway through. Just as the stealth figure of the Man of Water approached poolside, the South London sun broke through.

It must have been a sign.

A few lovely lido conversations, and then I cycled back through Brixton and a school day in Sunny Stockwell.

This was to be my final time in the old building ahead of the move to the new build in September.

I can’t say that I was emotional. We are in need of a change.

Highlights included sitting in on a Brixton Design Trail art workshop, pizza baking with the Year 8’s, and then catching out Boy Y in quick cricket.

HOWZAT!

I made a mad dash across South London at chucking out time from SW9 over to SE17. It was the school Summer Fair over on the other side of the borough border.

It was very much a hit and run affair. I snapped away, and then buggered off back to Sunny Stockwell.

On the piss in the Pavilion, innit

And then Friday evening was all about being on the piss in the Pavilion with @surreycricket.

Happy days.
