OH HAI toothache.
Piss off toothache.
This isn’t going to get any better, is it?
Make hay whilst my tooth hurts like hell, etc.
And so I filed an Freedom of Information request before 6am.

The 7am work shift was quiet.
Ibuprofen calmed me down.
My dental appointment was at 9am. The basic technique was to bang away at each of my teeth to try and isolate where the problem was coming from.
No.
Nope.
OUCH YOU F-ER!
An X-ray was taken.
The outcome is root canal surgery over the Christmas and New Year period.

I made a point of paying for it all up front:
“You’re not going to have me in tears and then ask me for some money”
…was my reasoning.
The Receptionist smiled with a perfect set of teeth.
That will be me in the New Year.
I cycled on to the pool for a swim and a sulk. The Muddy Banks reeked of shit.
The gym livened me up. I had a lane to myself for forty lengths. I fell asleep in the spa listening to a Good Owd Essex couple talking about the Good Owd Days.
It was like dropping in on a Warm and Toasty Club semi-naked session.
I do miss the Warm and Toasty Club.
Big Client #1 had something of an outage all afternoon.
oh.
I collected the Bowie book from the library.
We then had an all company webinar.
Feedback was offered.
BT contacted me late in the day with a Black Friday offer for BT Sport.
Marketing turns everything to shit, etc. But this was half-decent. I’m going to sign up for BT Sport for the next 18 months, mainly for The Ashes.
I headed out to the garden for the final half hour of sunlight. My summer dreams were swept away as I packed up the fallen wisteria leaves.
It was a DIRTY D&B evening, listening to LaVice and general online catching up.
I feel like I felt at 5:30am.
