Some early morning Brixton Buzz action.
The news list (ha!) is starting to build up once again. It’s a struggle to keep on top of it all. You just bash ’em out, as and when, then move on…
Which is what I did at 8:30am as I cycled on to Castle Park for the weekly CTC Club Run.
This was a No Man’s Land morning for the armies. I couldn’t decide upon short or long sleeves.
In the end my Arthur / Martha dilemma was resolved by the wearing of the armies - the funny arm coverings that you can remove if you get a little heated.
It was a bloody ACE turn out by the Leisure World skate park for the 9am roll out. Two groups were needed to managed the ride safely.
Castle Park was looking splendid as we hit peak autumn. The magical Mother Nature colour show was radiating the leaves back at my lovely, lovely day glow lycra.
I let go with a solitary sneeze as we departed the town.
uh-oh.
Two weeks ago and the Ride of the Sneezes left me bailing out and sinking into a steaming bath for the rest of the morning.
This wasn’t the case for Sunday.
It was a most glorious, glorious ride under some superb Sunny Colch weather conditions.
Elevenses were taken outside.
At a bloody golf club.
oh.
Luncheon was in a boozer in Bures.
I did my polite disappearing act and ate my homemade sarnies alone on a park bench.
#OddJase.
90km was clocked up in total.
Happy with that.
Chapeau!
I stayed clear of the Forest Vs D***y score whilst out in the saddle.

Oh bollocks.
I would have crashed my bicycle anyway if I was being updated.
The second half of the Southampton Vs Newcastle match was lively.
Disco Darryl and I hooked up early evening to record Town Hall Tapes #5.
I timed how long it would take me from finishing the recording to turning it around and publishing online: under an hour.
That’s alright.
We want to continue with this, but only under the condition that it doesn’t eat into our other projects.
Anna returned later in the evening from apple picking in Kent.
Or was it Surrey?
I wasn’t listening tbh.
But she had a big bag of apples.
Chomp, chomp, chomp.
