6:30am on the first tee for The Open.
I bloody hate golf.
But for some reason I am attracted each year to the first shot of the tournament being called on 5Live.
It has always been predictable in past years. Pro golfers don’t f-up - especially so on the first tee at The Open.
I didn’t catch the name of the fella at 6:30am, but he had a bit of a balls up.
Whoops.
My listening switched to Latitude at #Late Junction for the 7am shift.
I didn’t stick around for long. I had a train to catch back home to S Ldn.
I was joined for the second half of the journey by @MrBoom.
Decent catch up, Sir.
I crossed at Ldn Bridge and tried to avoid the showers. A big brute of a beast was hovering around Elephant.
I gave way at Kennington and took shelter at a bust stop.
The bloody oBikes were everywhere.
It is early days, but I have taken a strong dislike to them. They are nothing but pavement clutter.
If they aren’t blocking the pavement then they are taking up space on public bicycles racks.
Yeah yeah - it gets people cycling.
But does it?
Has anyone actually seen people riding an @ObikeUk? #oBike

I’ve yet to see anyone rolling out on an oBike.
A brief Lidl run back in Sunny Stockwell and some more work shifts.
The rest of the day was all about Operation Handy Man.
It was suppose to be the final piece of the flat renovation jigsaw. My handy man had been booked in to hang pictures, screw in doorstops and fit the smoke alarms.
Two outta three ‘aint bad.
It was a bit of a bodge job on the picture front 🙁
I feel pretty bad about it. He tried hard - especially with the monster clock that he couldn’t quite get flush.
But it looks a little bobbins.
The clock was counting down - literally as he was invoicing by the hour.
Four hours later and we were both a little pissed off with the whole situation.
Hey hoe.
