The swim was ACE. Forty lengths gliding through the water, pulling down in all the right places.
I sound like West Ham Wanker.
I understand the science behind swimming. I always work to achieve the optimal level in the water so that it works for you, and not vice versa.
Theory is often over rated though.
Not so on Friday morning. I was on a roll, but also on a tight timetable.
Work was beckoning back at base. I had a full on day with few breaks.

I did manage to find time to spunk a tenner on Ben Foakes to be the highest scorer for Surrey at HQ on Saturday.
I say spunked - that nice Paddy Power gave me a freebie bet.
Odds of 7/1 are generous. I fear however that I might be wanting Surrey’s lower order to put a break on their innings.
The four-fer with @RobertElms was a slightly specialist: sweet, sensual, soft, 70’s soul
Eddie Holman’s Hey There Lonely Girl had me singing a most unlikely mid-morning falsetto.
Luncheon led to Show and Tell with Anna. We are increasingly crossing over with both the content and skills set for our work.
How the chuff did that happen?

1,000 volts is never enough. And so I fired up iTunes and blasted out 2,000 and 3,000 volts of yer man.
Work tools were downed. Preparations were made for the HQ trip with Surrey in the morning.
And then we buggered off to a local house party with some lovely folk.
