Monday misery on oh so many fronts.
But then again Monday was MAGNIFICENT in other areas.
Hey hoe.
Spin the wheel, Jase etc.
I must stop getting annoyed when trying to integrate a silly tumblr login to yahoo at 7am in the morning.
One of the feeds for a tumblr photo blog occasionally picks up an image that I don’t want to appear.
No worries - I’ll login and delete it.
Half an hour later…
I bloody hate tumblr.
Try and integrate this with the hit and miss yahoo login process and it is just pants.
Nope - it’s actually unworkable.
And so I gave up.
I had a little more joy with the school policies for SW9 and SE21. A whole wedge of these landed yesterday. I have been dreading going through them in a systematic way.
It actually wasn’t that bad. I took the opportunity to have a bit of an online spring clean when presenting these on the front end.
The SW9 school site is eating through the bandwidth. I can’t quite work out why this is.
The traffic stacks up on par with both SE21 and SE17. Roughly the same amount of data is uploaded every fortnight or so.
If I had left it then it would have toppled over before the month is out. And so I upgraded and whacked the bandwidth up to 100 gigs.
I cycled off to the gym with heavy legs. My joints are completely shot the Monday after a CTC Club Run.
I did the treadmill thing, and then GRUNTED with some average weights.
A female on the bench press was wearing layers of make up. It wouldn’t have looked out of place at a nightclub at 2am on a Saturday morning.
ewwww.
I had a brief burst of a work shift, and then another two hour window.
Oh.
I decided to cycle off to White House Beach for a siesta out by the estuary.
I bumped into Mr Marc down at the Quayside. I mistook him for my Roof Man for almost an entire minute.
The conversation was interesting…
Whitehouse beach was deserted. An exceptionally high tide was on the turn. I fell asleep with the Weller album…
I had exactly 20 minutes to cycle back to base for the next work shift.
Plenty of time.
Psssst.
Oh pissing hell. I bloody punctured.
I had to leg it back to base pushing the MTB, Chris Froome style up Mont Ventoux. I was able to login with seconds to spare.
Work tools were downed. I wheeled the MTB back down to the Quayside and to the Bike Kitchen folk. I spent an hour and a half trying to fit a new inner.
We caught commentary on the final hour of the Surrey Championship match up at Headingley. I remain to be convinced about day / night Championship cricket.
The Monday misery continued with my external drive announcing that it is full.
The price of storage goes down, but the size of the data that I accumulate rises.
A late, late working shift finished off Monday.
