A day top and tailed with the Tour of Flanders.
I watched the roll out and the first couple of hours. I then disappeared for my own bicycle ride, before returning for the race finish.
Chapeau!
My own Tour of North Norfolk took in a slight detour with a return to West Runton. I umm-ed and ahh-ed overnight about buying the BEAUTIFUL mini-wheeler.
I still hadn’t made up my mind when I returned over luncheon on Sunday.
The £65 price wasn’t an issue. Neither was storage.

But it would be a right arse to transport it back to the Estuary Wilds along with the Brompton later in the evening.
And so instead I went to a car boot sale.
It was crap.
I did finally manage a purchase from the West Runton Army Surplus store - the exact same style of combat trousers that I have been wearing for the past three decades.
I know what I like, Comrades.
Blakeney was next up on my radar. I use to dread the rolling hills of North Norfolk. I now realise that I have been riding on a bicycle that isn’t geared up for the job.
It was a bit of a breeze on the Brompton.
I enjoyed a cup of tea Quayside, before buggering off back to the caravan. It was bloody freezing.
I arrived back in time to catch the final 45 minutes of Flanders.
Not a bad bicycle race 😉
Chapeau! #flanders

Arsenal Vs Man City was half decent as well.
I had some fiddly bits and bobs to try and bodge through on my parent’s new laptop. Windows XP is the last OS that I feel confident in using.
And then I was at the mercy of bloody Greater Anglia for the long journey back to *over dear.*
Oh dear, etc.
This was waiting for me:
Ta, but no ta, etc.
