Wednesday

I departed the Hood for the safety of Sunny Stockwell early on Wednesday morning.

Oh baby, it’s a wild world, etc.

It’s certainly very odd around the estuary wilds right now. I was pleased to get back on more familiar South London surroundings.

It was a real pea souper of a morning, speeding through the North Essex countryside.

Don’t dazzle, dip your socks, Jase.

I then crossed the Old Father on the No. 35 bus - the Route of Kings - in bright blue sunshine.

I tried not to read too much into this observation.

Over in SE17 and it was all about school Winter Concerts. I couldn’t make the Key Stage 1 performance on Tuesday, and so I was determined to make up for the loss with an extra effort for Key Stage 2.

I was actually double booked. I agreed to video a separate Nursery show mid-afternoon. It was taking place at the exact same time as the Brass Band were blowing through their Good King Wenceslas.

Whoops.

I seamlessly moved between the main hall and the Nursery, just about getting away with the double bluff.

I’ve got a third Winter Concert tomorrow over in SE21.

It was a GLORIOUS walk back through the Walworth side streets, via Kennington and on to Sunny Stockwell.

Wednesday evening was spent BALLS DEEP in editing and uploading 22 school videos - which kinda tripped the entire modern interweb for Sunny Stockwell for the evening.

Apologies, Comrades.

Same again tomorrow.
