Not the best of starts for the kittens early on Thursday morning.
I was on a tight schedule to catch the train back to South London; the kittens wanted out.
I knew how they feel.
Trying to take the Brompton and two bicycle bags outside whilst containing the kittens indoors, was always going to end in disaster.
I had a trick up my crombie sleeve though - a tin foil ball.
#KittensLoveTinFoilBalls, innit.
I chucked it back indoors, and the kittens soon followed.
See ya!
I’m f-ing off to South London, ladies.
Over in SE17 and I walked straight into a charming Year 3 assembly. Frostbite and hypothermia were under consideration.
I physically trembled as to what was awaiting me at the lovely lido on Friday morning.
The rest of the school day was a combination of Christmas songs and computer frustration.
It’s never too early to hear school kids rehearsing I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day.
Sadly I don’t get the same sense of enjoyment when trying to use a school Windows PC, printer, and photocopier.
I cycled back to Sunny Stockwell via The Oval. I stopped off for a brief Lidl run.

And the BEST cup of tea of the day.
Oooh.
That tasted good.
I had some scheduled work shifts to complete in the flat. It was bloody busy, with one client coming close to trending on Twitter.
TOTP with John Peel on BBC4 calmed me down.
We went from Musical Youth, and then straight into Culture Club.
Seamless scheduling from a very different and less cynical age.
I don’t think that Mr Peel was being particularly cynical when he described the next act as the:
“breathtakingly lovely Shakatak.”
Blimey.
I had some FaceTime with Anna back at the other end.
She told the tale of how she arrived back home, opened the back door and the bloody kittens did a runner.
Been there, done that, luv.
I worked late into Thursday editing and publishing school content.
I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the lovely lido in the morning.
