Sunday

A productive Sunday.

I didn’t even leave the house.

The estuary wilds weather forecast looked beastly. I made a strategic decision early on to make hay.

Or even do housework.

The cricket breakfast was bloody brilliant. Waking up and watching an England rear guard batting display is the best start to any Sunday.

The kittens kept on clashing with my cricket viewing.

Daisy [stop it] has developed a weird water fixation. We think that she is OK - it’s just that she would rather drink water from a jug than out of the bowl.

We’ve tried regularly providing fresh water in the bowl - often on a half hourly basis.

But the silly bint just loves to drink from the jug that pours the water.

Odd.

I got my own back by worming the pair later on in the morning.

Or rather Anna did.

SPLAT.

Gotcha.

DIY Jase then sprung into action. My major achievement for Sunday was also water related. The cold tap in the bathroom has been running off a low pressure.

When in doubt, douse it in WD40 - the SAVIOUR of everything.

It was a simple case of GUMPH being clogged up in the tap. I am the king of de-GUMPHing.

The kittens continued to ignore Anna after the worming incident. She buggered off to play golf.

I blitzed the house with a cleaning session. I’m as regular as the kittens are at shitting when it comes to my housework duties.

Never underestimate though the amount of chaos that a couple of kittens can bring to a household.

The late afternoon was then spent flat planning for back in Sunny Stockwell. There is ambitious talk of a new bathroom, kitchen and fitted cupboards.

Anna took me through her designs.

I was watching the Boro Vs Chelsea game tbh.

Where do I sign up?

All of this needs paying for.

Which is why I spent Sunday evening working.

A productive Sunday.
