The first cravat of the season as I made my way down to South London for a school day on Thursday morning.
CRAVAT UP, you fool.
I managed another 50+ pages of the Clough biog on the train journey in, as well as the delightful Joe Brown ukulele album to listen to.
Greeting my in SE17 was Boy Y:
“I threw up last night.”
OH HAI, fella.
He didn’t speak to me for the rest of the day.
It was a decent school session, doing the usual hit and run from Nursery up to Year 6. I enjoyed the Year 3 assembly; the girls football team were STARS.
I’m constantly trying to refresh the way in which I go about my work. I often leave disappointed, feeling that I am using the same tools and techniques as I was six months ago.
But then I think back to a couple of years ago, and the process has been transformed.
I proved this point by managing to publish all of the SE17 content on Thursday evening. That never happened back in the day.
A brief LIDL run, some FaceTime with Anna and the kittens [STOP IT] and then bed.
I admit to some trepidation over swimming in the waters of Lake Brockwell in the morning, having had an Icicle free zone for a fortnight.
uh-oh.
