Friday

Some Colne Radio scheduling work very early on Friday morning.

It was the launch today of the Aviva Community Fund. The station is hopeful of landing £1,000, if we get enough votes.

There are only so many ways to be creative with social content whilst pleading PLEASE CLICK HERE.

I like to think that the aims and aspirations of the station within the community will hopefully carry it.

And then the lovely lido.

I wasn’t anywhere near as concerned about the 13 degrees water temperature as I was yesterday afternoon. It was an absolute breeze to be honest.

I held off once again with the wetsuit. The real test will be trying to put the lengths in once we fall under ten degrees - probably sometime in the next two weeks.

It was fun and larks back in the gents.

I haven’t seen Le Gai Pensionnaire in almost a month. I almost pulled a muscle [steady] with my semi-naked meet ‘n’ greet.

My cycle ride over to SE17 was carried out at a speedy pace. I wasn’t running late, but I needed to warm up.

If the bicycle ride didn’t see to it, then straight into Year 1 PE just about did the job.

It was a half decent school day. Last time I was in SE17 I became distracted on a number of other projects. The website was left looking a little barren to be honest.

I managed to get round all eight year groups, plus some time talking about the partnership that the school has just formalised with Millwall FC.

And then just when I thought that South London had once again got under my fingernails and engrained me with a sense of inner Transpontine tranquility, I had to cycle off to Liverpool Street and back to *over there.*

Oh dear, etc.

Waiting for me at the other end of the line was Anna and a couple of adorable kittens.

I made a start on the cupboard full of BOOZE that we put to one side after the mad cat sadness of the summer.

Cricket, track cycling and boxing on TV made for my kinda Friday night.

Chin chin.
