Tuesday

School policy publishing very early on Tuesday morning.

Fiddly.

Anna escaped to South London, whilst I escaped for a swim.

A green morning along the Trail

The Trail was slightly damp after an overnight sprinkling. I’ve been cycling on the new MTB all summer. Soon it will be time to wheel out the old MTB tank and plough through muddy winter marshland.

The swim was as functional and it was short. Mid-morning work shifts were waiting.

The new cat carrier arrived at luncheon, ahead of some *possible* new cat carrying action come the weekend.

I felt an immense sense of guilt that we are pissing over the memory of the mad cat.

But she is always there.

GEEZER

I got myself tarted up after lunch and headed out for an afternoon of work at Walton-on-the-Naze.

I had a another Memory Afternoon with Johnno and the Warm and Toasty project.

The discussions covered mainly the home front during the Wartime years. It was a very humbling experience.

Johnno was the STAR of course with a song for every occasion.

We’re halfway through this particular Walton residency. It has proven to be the perfect late summer pick me up after a couple of months of personal sorrow.

Walton, innit

Escaping to Walton on the train, and strolling along the pier ahead of the work has been an absolute delight.

Back at base and Mr Sainsbury knocked on my door early evening. I messed up with the online order. I found some space under the stairs for the 32 tins of baked beans that I mistakingly ordered.

Whoops.

Tuesday came to a close with some FaceTime action with Anna.
