I came out with a dozen frozen croissants, four bags of dried banana chips, a lettuce and a cucumber - which should make for an interesting mixed meal.
I picked some tomatoes and mint from the garden to top it all off.

And then with shadows starting to form back at base late afternoon, the Work Schedule Gods smiled upon me.
I traded a couple of afternoon shifts for some evening work.
Which meant that I was free for a cycle out to White House Beach and the absolute BLISS of estuary wilds tranquility.
I didn’t see anyone else for almost two hours as I laid back, soaked up the sun and watched the tide slowly coming in.
Actually I lie; I fell asleep of course.
