A little more time for the morning swim on Monday. But I was exhausted - emotionally, if not physically.
I managed forty lengths, and then spent a little extra time spamming by Instagram feed with random snaps of the Trail.
A short burst of work shifts back at base, and then I disappeared for a few errands.
I picked up some cat easy pill dough from the vets. Much to our surprise, she managed to neck a couple of pills wrapped up in the mixture.
I optimistically bought four more sachets and attempted to make a joke out of it with the Receptionist.
She looked uncomfortable around my gallows humours.
I cycled off to the farm shop. We use to go here each week for fresh supplies. Or rather Anna did until South London work got in the way.
Nothing too adventurous was bought. The 89p king size iced bun remains an absolute bargain.
I then settled down for an afternoon of work with the mad cat and Surrey cricket commentary.
Work was steady. We had a company wide webinar late in the day.
I really can’t read the cat signals. She is incredibly weak, and just about functioning.
Anna is away in South London for the rest of the week. I’m not sure how I am going to cope with the emotions when I need to go solo.
