Sunday

Publishing pics and Sunday morning TV politics to start the day.

One of them held my attention more than the other.

I disappeared into the garden for a sulk, and to scavenge for my breakfast. I returned with half a dozen juicy strawberries, and a bowl full of raspberries.

The plan was for an early bicycle ride. I still haven’t caught up with the first two stages of Le Tour, but I was keen to roll out around the estuary wilds.

I had a bit of admin first, and needed to check some notes on my iPhone.

An hour later and I was still searching for the missing note.

Arse.

The wonder of third party restoration software was my saviour.

The bicycle ride was brief. I had work shifts after luncheon.

I passed a dead deer on the side of the road at Alresford. It was a little distressing - probably more so for the dead deer itself.

And then on the run in through Elmstead Market a pigeon actually flew from a hedgerow and passed through my frame as I was cycling at 27 kmh.

Woh.

That was freaky shit.

Work then took over, and then attention turned to the closing Colne Radio crowd funder.

We end at 10am in the morning.

A couple of very welcome BIG pledges came in, taking us over the £4,000 figure. It would be ACE to take this up to £5,000 in the morning, but that is incredibly optimistic.

But a success - our original aim was for £3,000 from the fortnight period. It has been pretty intense. I am looking forward to going back on the BOOZE once again.

Chin chin.
