Colne Radio crowd funder panics at 6am for Thursday morning.
That’s not cool.
We have three days remaining to raise £3,000 and get the station on FM. We started the morning around £800 down.
I calmed my nerves instead with a 7am work shift.
I then paid the proceeds from the hour and a half of work into the crowd funder.
Only joking, Comrades.
And then I was outta here.
Hurrah!
The 9:23 back to Transpontonia was calling.
Somewhere between the estuary wilds and South London and my phone pinged.
A £250 pledge for the crowd funder?
Oooh.
That’s better.
I cycled down to a school day in Sunny Stockwell with a huge SMILE on my face. Even the ‘improved’ Elephant junction seemed easy.
It was a rushed school day, but rewarding all the same.
Year 11 were out on a trip.
Tomorrow is Leaver’s Assembly.
I can’t make it 🙁
I caught up with them at the end of the day when they returned. I knew that it would be the last time that I see some of the students. I didn’t tell them, but I did savour our conversations.
I had a charming music lesson with the Year 7’s learning about different musical families. I made my excuses when the lesson finished off with a bit of Wham!
And then sadly it was a case of See Ya South London!
I was summoned back on bloody mad cat duty.
Arse.
It wasn’t all that bad.
t20, the Porto match and BOOZE.
I forgot to feed the cat.
Chin chin.
