Another day stuck behind the keyboard, with only a brief break to take in the delights of the garden.
Work…
It was another 7am start.
There’s a pretty major client that many in the company are being asked to work on over the next few weeks. The background involves an awful lot of prep and reading.
I just haven’t found the time this week.
Breakfast was odd: Bran Flakes with washing powder.
My nuclear supply of Bran Flakes are stored next to my nuclear supply of washing powder underneath the stairs.
Come the big bang and if I make a Bran Flakes mess in my pants, at least I will have a supply of washing powder to match.
The Bran Flakes gave me the boost to try something daring: mass email deletion.
Oh Lordy.
I’ve got 15gb of content in gmail that needed wiping out. Important mails are starred (I think?) The rest can bloody go.
See ya!
I felt liberated.
I put together the final round of media assets for the Colne Radio crowd funder mid-morning.
Some online cheats were involved…
And then work shifts, plus a mad dash to photograph the anarchic garden in all its estuary wilds mid-summer glory.
It looks a bloody mess to be honest - but what a spectacular mess with Anna’s anarchic approach to planting.
I had a bit of a panic over various back ups. I came close to losing some data earlier in the week.
I set various scripts running in the background to back up the back ups of back ups as I worked away in the afternoon.
The work with the Publisher for the past month was finally signed off. I’ve not received any feedback, but I have handed over logins and an invoice.
And then Thursday came to a close with a Show and Tell session for the Colne Radio folk.
Some of the team came round, along with Polom, for a walk through as to how to publish content on the modern interweb.
You create the content - leave the back ups to me.
I think?
