Tuesday

The estuary wilds rain was the alarm call for Tuesday morning. It was unfortunate that Mother Nature chose to awake me at 4am.

I was restless for a few hours, and then had some work shifts at 7am. Anna disappeared to South London for the week, leaving me with a crying mad cat by the garden gate.

It truly is heartbreaking 🙁

A little more uplifting is the sound of the lovely neighbours and their hired hot tub for the half term break.

NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR IT.

Nope.

I played around in-between work shifts with some Twitter cards. I’m trying to work out how best to use them for other work projects.

I then tried to access a pdf file attached to bloody Hotmail mail. It seems like a modern interweb age away.

The only way of achieving this was to forward the mail to a gmail account, when it then became visible. I really should put my ancient Hotmail account out of its misery.

The soundtrack for Tuesday morning was varied.

I’m working through the iPlayer Prince archive. The Radio 4 piece on Purple Rain and Bobby Z is worth ten minutes of your time.

Late Junction was especially rhythmic. It provided the perfect accompaniment for me to tap away on the keyboard.

Work then became manic. This is the official description that I used sign off one particularly crazy shift.

The mad cat by now had dried her tears, and had turned her attention in trying to distract me from my work.

She is very good at this.

I had an all company webinar late in the afternoon. I made sure that the mad cat came nowhere near my Mac.

The EU referendum came up in the short term company future.

uh-oh.

More work until the early evening, and then that very nice Jonathan Bartley dropped me something of a Buzz scoop.

Cheers, fella.

Interesting times…
