Monday

Some early Bank Holiday work shifts to start off Monday morning. Predictably there wasn’t a lot happening.

I bashed out a brief Buzz post about Cllr Heywood.

400+ words, when really all it took was a tweet from @KeaneMJ to sum up the situation.

Anna and I then buggered off on another bicycle ride.

Boy - it was bloody windy out there.

Rain threatened around Little Bentley, and so we cut the route short. The wind was behind us for the Elmstead School Road Sprint segment. I found the big cog, and pushed it all the way.

The rest of the morning was spent on some more photo unarchiving. I’ve reached the summer of 2005 as I patiently revisit the pile of CDR’s containing my photo archive for the past decade.

Some absolute GOLD was unarchived with some beautiful lovely lido snaps. I’m so pleased that I had the sense to capture the old changing block before it was converted into a gym.

I listened to Around the World in a Day during all of this. It remains absolutely BONKERS.

Anna disappeared to play golf in the afternoon; I had some more work shifts.

I watched a bit of the AFC Wimbledon match, and then did some work for the Publisher, before finally finishing the work on the Colne Radio website.

I went to The Greyhound early evening to meet some of the Colne folk. We have agreed on the dates for the crowd funder.

It’ incredibly tight, and will require an intensive fortnight coming up next month. But they need the money, else the station will stagnate.

The remainder of Monday evening was spent with a little more planning on the crowd dunder campaign, plus tidying up the new Colne Radio website.
