Thursday

A 7am work shift and some bloody fiddly iMovie settings.

I LOVE iMovie for mobile. On the desktop and it is crap.

I somehow made the error of deleting some school content from my phone earlier in the week. It was all backed up on my MacBook, but this then meant working off the desktop.

I confess to giving up by 8am. It was crap content, anyway.

A brief swim, and then heads down for a lengthy stretch of work shifts.

It was pretty manic stuff to be honest.

I finally managed to publish the school content from SE21 on Monday. I’m really pleased with the new sites. They lead with images, rather than words. I would do well to remember this…

I headed out early evening to the University. On the agenda was the hustings for Old Heath and Hythe.

I was missing the darts on TV for this…

It was interesting, if a little specialist stuff. Nice ride back on the new bicycle lane, mind.

I beat Anna back to base. The girl was returning from South London.

I had been off the grid for the past couple of hours.

“So Prince is dead!”

…she exclaimed.

Cheers, luv.

Woh.

Where to start?

By pure chance, I played Sign ‘O’ Times last week.

VERY LOUDLY.

It still sounded so fresh.

I honestly can’t think of a back catalogue taking in For You to Graffiti Bridge that still stacks up so well.

I treasure my vinyl collection of that GLORIOUS run of releases.

Plans of flicking between the Arsenal match and the darts were abandoned. We put on 6 Music, and then just let the evening drift.

Friday night is Purple Rain night it seems.

It must be hard work being Paul Gambaccini this year.

Sad, sad face 🙁
