WOW.
Now that’s what I call a lovely lido swim.
Absolutely ACE.
Brockwell Blue, the way it should be.
The water temperature of 12 degrees is reaching the tipping point where I start to lose the rubber.
Do I really need two hats?
I doubt it.
As ever, time was tight for the start of the new working week. I had a school assembly to be in by 9am, and so couldn’t arse around.
Which is a good job, seeing as though Lido Sarah was pushing me in the parallel lane.
Blimey - that girl can swim. Cheeky as well.
I thought that I was in control, but she stretched ahead, just as I thought I had seen her off. I swear I got a wink underwater as well.
WINK.
I arrived for a school day in SE21 buzzing off my Brockwell tits.
Which is no bad thing.
I didn’t have much time before I turned around and buggered off back up towards Herne Hill and le velo with the sixth formers.
The lido, le velo - what is this? A traditional South London Saturday morning from back in the day?
LIVE THE DREAM, Jase.
At @HerneHillVel with Turney students and lovely @WfWnews. ACE. Chapeau! #hernehill pic.twitter.com/YmNCQZkRKD

Wheels for Wellbeing were running the velo session. It was pretty humbling stuff seeing the students take to the velo and feeling completely inclusive, despite their various learning needs.
Work was about to start on demolishing the old club house. I couldn’t have timed it better, and so made sure that I snapped away at what is left of the old historic ruin.
Back at school and I was blowing bubbles mid-morning. All music lessons should start with a bubble blowing session.
Job’s a good ‘un.
The rest of the school day was lost somewhere in-between helping to prepare some Vietnamese cold rolls, and then trying to get my head around Year 10 maths.
I tried to stick with my new streamlined work mantra of less is more with the words, and allow a photo to speak 1,000 words.
I still came out with over 2,300 words bashed out on my MacBook.
The school bell went, and then I had to head off back to over there.
Oh dear.
Monday evening was spent catching up with Anna and the mad cat.
Plus the lolspurs match.
#lolspurs.
Oh yeah - it was a full on white denim day today, Style Council, Cost of Loving look, summer of 1987.
I looked the absolute bollocks.
Or just bollocks?
Loafers and no socks as well.
The lido lot were in awe.
I got the Bob the Burglar comments back at school once again.
