A mad cat on my lap at 6am to start off Thursday morning.
The mad cat isn’t a lap cat. I have no idea why she decided to interrupt my morning tea drinking routine.
But it was lovely.
Except I hat to kick her off as I had tea to drink and a train to catch.
I had a charming journey in, sitting with a wise Wivenhoe head who I haven’t caught up with in a while.
And then it was all aboard the the top of the No. 35, and crossing the Old Father for an escape to Transpontonia for the week.
Hurrah!
The 35 remains the ROUTE OF KINGS.
Even The Elephant Bend appears majestic from the top tier.
A full on school day in SE17 followed.
Woh. That was tiring.
One of the school teams is experimenting with videoing pupils as they make progress with their Lego therapy.
Don’t laugh - it’s an ACE project that is delivering genuine results when it comes to self-confidence.
I spent most of the morning trying to convince them to simply use an iPhone or iPad and upload to a secure cloud platform, rather than a bloody elongated method of an old school video cam, and a plug and (not play) PC.
I think that I might have just won the argument.

I ended the school day with the first after-school session of Journalism Club with the G&T kids.
It went rather well.
We are planning on publishing an end of year magazine. Some of the creativity from the G&T kids was incredibly impressive.
My Brompton was back at the flat, and so I walked to Sunny Stockwell via Kennington.
The South Lambeth Road garden has burst into action since I’ve been away. I am so proud of what we have achieved here. It’s gone from a dumping ground to something quite delightful.

I had some work shifts back in the flat, then a LIDL run, and then more work all the way through until late in the evening.
My inner soul is pining for the lovely lido.
Man and water will be reunited in the morning.
