Wednesday

Early morning red skies.

The 6am estuary wilds illuminations were a sign of the showers to come.

A cycle, a swim, and then a full on working day.

I started off with some Late Junction as my soundtrack. The new warped dancehall of Roots Manuva sounded bloody ACE.

It all then went a little didgeridoo.

No ta. Not for me.

A late night Style Council session the night before led to a wonky wardrobe choice.

Ha, bloody ha. ROCKING that Style Council Cost of Loving look. What is this? 1987?

Oh dear.

I fired up The Cost of Loving instead.

Keep the Faith, etc.

The mad cat was a pain all day.

Sorry.

A right PAIN.

I had to be settled for some focus and concentration. The mad cat doesn’t do focus and concentration.

I think she has got the shits.

The Lee Thompson Ska Orchestra put a big SMILE on my face late afternoon. I had some decent work news as a boost as well.

I then did something rather reckless: I cancelled my life insurance.

The CRAZY world of rock ‘n’ roll, etc.

I though f-it. Once I’m gone then Anna will get half of the house, plus my Prince vinyl collection. She can live off that.

Job’s a good ‘un.

I went up to watch Wivenhoe Town in the evening. Three home points and promotion from Thurlow Nunn Division 1 was guaranteed.

It was a shaky first half. I had z rare outing for my Nikon SLR. I’m still unsure about it after almost a decade of trying to give it some camera love.

The second half picked up, with Wivenhoe winning 4-0.

I confess to becoming slightly over-excited, and even putting on something of a comedy North Essex accent.

That needs to stop.
