A 7am work start for Sunday morning.
It was all very relaxed, and not quite the usual midweek panic stations.
I suspect I was in a bit of a daze. I called out to the mad cat who was sitting on the bench at the other end of the garden.
She did a runner over the garden wall.
It wasn’t my mad cat
The cycle along the Trail was busy with early morning runners / walkers / doggers. The big red red boat looked bloody beautiful against the Sunny Colch blue skies.
A power swim, a few more snaps around the Hythe, and then I had the LibDems around for mid-morning coffee.
Oh Lordy.
Actually it was the ex-LibDems. They were quite lovely and exchanged some very decent ideas about possible local solutions over the coming years.
And then the cricket.
Oh dear.
I took out my frustration come the close of the play by digging up Anna’s favourite fern.
It needed to be re-planted as it was getting in the way of my big butt.
Nothing gets in the way of my big butt, especially after a heavy estuary wilds rain downpour.
Sunday evening was spent on Brixton Buzz action, and then catching the highlights of the Tour of Flanders.
Chapeau!
