A 6am work shift.
OUCH.
The alarm call of the No.2 trundling down South Lambeth Road had me awake by 5am.
And then a modern interweb ping of a site being down elsewhere.
Oh dear.
Much love to @4UHosting. SUPERB service at a very silly hour in the morning.

I’m not sure what is causing this, but the PHP install over on the Wivenhoe Forum keeps on downgrading to the previous version - the one that my host doesn’t support.
4UHosting have no idea how this is happening. They are bloody good at dealing with tech support at 5:30am though.
I disappeared out of the flat just ahead of Anna. This never happened back in the day.
A short cycle down Stockwell Road, and then something for the weekend with Rashid underneath the Academy.
The only time that I can tolerate a haircut is first thing in the morning. Rashid did his ten minutes of hoovering my head with the clippers.
Job’s a good ‘un.
I cycled on to Brockwell Park and the lovely lido. The grass had been freshly cut around the park - the first time for the season.
I opened up my nostrils and inhaled.
Steady the buffers, etc.
I felt slightly giddy on the delights of a South London spring.
The lido was bloody busy. There wasn’t really room for even a small one in the gents.
The conversation was still centred around my pussy tunnel. @mutley69 managed to out-weird me by spilling his dog food all over the lido gents floor.
This was my first outing of the lido flip flops. I’ve been finding it bloody painful all winter, walking back past the lido cafe after a swim.
I’m sure there is some deep science behind a cold water swim and your toes feeling like they are about to fall off. The best I can offer is that it bloody hurts walking out, not walking in.
I was ahead of schedule, and so took the opportunity to renew my lido season ticket for another year.
I’m not going to go into the finer details, but I suspect that something is slightly wrong with the price that I have been paying over the past couple of seasons…
I cycled back through Brixton, and a school day in SW9.
Music with Boy Y was brilliant. His class is learning about contemporary British musicians. Boy Y confused Freddie Mercury for David Bowie, and then Oasis for “Star Wars people.”
STAR.
A bit like me and the ballet that I ended up doing in Year 11 drama.
As ever - how was your work today?
GRINNING.
I had some fiddly video file editing to do late in the working day. iMovie on the desktop is full of bloatware.
I can turn around a video shot on my iPhone whilst on the train. The desktop client drains all the enthusiasm out of creating content.
School chucking out time saw a brief dash back to the flat, and then back to over there.
Oh dear.
The mad cat has been flying solo for the past 48 hours. She celebrated my return by doing a stinking poo.
Thursday night was all about school catching up, and the DARTS.
