An escape to Transpontonia for the week.
Hurrah!
You can’t beat an hour long Greater Anglia train journey with your head buried deep in a CBC Cabinet report.
Awaiting for me at the other end of the ODD duel existence lifestyle was a school day in SE17.
Hurrah! Hurrah!
Double good.
It got off to an ACE start with a meeting about the new school magazine. Plenty of ideas, and plenty of appointments to recruit from the talented kids.
The plan is to work towards a summer publication. I’m looking forward to this immensely.
And then a spontaneous pitch.
ewww.
I’ve been working behind the scenes on a new roll out for the school website. I haven’t been asked to, but I’m ready for a change.
I wasn’t going to present the idea until after the Easter break.
Luncheon saw me having a random lovely chat with the folk that make these kind of decisions.
“Um… guess what I have built for you?”
The sale pitch was non-existent, but the outcome was ACE.
Flick the switch now was basically the message.
One down, two more to go…
I celebrated by singing more or less in tune to Lean on Me with the Year 4 Ukulele Orchestra.
Can you boast that variety in your job?
CAN YOU?
I cycled back to Sunny Stockwell, and then a brief #Lidl dash.

I bought the mad cat a tunnel of intrigue. It looked incredibly cheap, but then her favourite toy to date has been a paper bag.
Back in the flat my attention then turned towards French. I retook yesterday’s lesson as I was so rubbish at it.
I made the same mistakes.
Twice.
I don’t even know what the French is for twice.
The rest of Thursday evening was lost in modern interweb land with further school WordPress hacks.
I looked at the lido temperature before I went to bed.
I don’t think that I will sleep well.
