Wednesday was all about work, and not much else I’m afraid.
The run of work shifts started at breakfast, and ended early evening.
I had my regular work assessment as well. I think that it was fine, apart from my Skype screen showing a light shade wire growing out of my head.
Professional Jase, professional.
I played the Harder They Come soundtrack to carry me through the afternoon shifts. I haven’t heard this in ages. It was absolutely ACE.
What I really like is that my digital copy has the crackles of vinyl. It sounded rich.
This then became a roots run for the rest of the working afternoon. I fired up Don Letts’ Dread Meets Vol 2, and pretty much drifted through the afternoon session.
I stopped procrastinating on some new school site designs late afternoon.
This has become pressing for two schools that I work in, and mildly irritating for a third.
I need to grasp this and make the changes.
I have online notes about notes of notes.
My main time drain was trying to collaborate all of the ideas that I have been logging over the past few months.
A work in progress.
Polom came round later in the evening. We had another meeting about a website that we are building for the local radio station.
I say we - it is all of Polom’s work so far, rather than me.
I have a huge sense of guilt over this.
We finished in good time, and I was able to catch the second half of the Liverpool match.
And then some FaceTime with Anna.
“We’re selling up”
…apparently.
Oh Lordy.
