Thursday

A 7am work start.

Which was handy, seeing as though the estuary wilds rain had kept me awake pretty much all night.

I sat down, logged on and the sun came out.

I eased into the morning with the usual random musical noodlings from the wonderful Late Junction.

A few tech woes to start the working day.

I’ve been given a new Skype work account. It was a bloody pain trying to import all of my Skype work groups.

Mike Urban then cheered me up with a Buzz piece to sub about the bloody awful Stockwell Heights.

£625k for a 2 bed in SW9?

ffs.

Attention turned towards a possible school newspaper during the rest of the morning. One of the class teachers has been given the role. I have been asked for input.

It’s rather exciting and shows the scope for what can be achieved. I’ll be looking to integrate this with the pupil blog that we recently set up…

Luncheon was spent swimming. It was my first indoor swim in over a week. The glorious estuary wilds mud during the bicycle ride in looked spectacular.

I bumped into the charming @MrBoom in the pool. Not literally, but we had a naked men conversation.

Mr Boom impressed me with his new found French language knowledge.

Tu es grand, etc.

All carried out online as well.

I agreed to sign up for a French course and hopefully mirror the learnings of Mr Boom.

I did something similar at Lambeth College a few years back. I became a little lost when it got to the French flirting stage.

Best stick online, Jase.

I managed a brief later afternoon anarchic gardening session.

FORK IT.

The estuary wilds rays were still shining bright at 5pm.

My butt was overflowing and in need of emptying.

And then a run of work shifts that took me through all the way until bedtime.

It’s the new client that has a very hands off approach.

The modern interweb use to be such a welcoming environment.
