Saturday

Cat Wars and an early morning work shift to start the weekend.

The mad cat took a dislike to big bruiser of a bully that had wandered into our garden.

There wasn’t going to be a happy ending 🙁

Work was better. No one got hurt.

I then disappeared for a swim.

Time was tight. Thirty lengths, that was your lot.

I had a bizarre conversation with West Ham Wanker in the showers.

We covered sexuality and religion, and then he banged on about the darts from last night.

I kept my eyes closed and pretended to shampoo what remains of my hair.

I timed the bike ride back to base to perfection, arriving for yet more work just ahead of the estuary wilds rain.

Luncheon was spent watching #lolspurs and Arsenal. It wasn’t a very edifying experience.

Of far more interest was Wivenhoe Town FC at home to Gawd Knows Who.

We walked up to Broad Lane, stopping off for at The Flag for a swift one. The poor landlord needs a lotta love right now with Colchester Road closed.

Thankfully it seems that he had plenty of this on Thursday night with the Folk Club. They bloody drunk the place dry.

Naughty folk club.

I had a pint of Guinness instead.

Chin chin.

The football was fantastic, but not great for the Dragons. Wivenhoe lost 3-2 - remarkably their first league defeat so far this season.

We made it back to base for the L******er match.

*shhh* - bloody LOVE L******er right now.

There was always a City of Death element to my tricky skills.

A touch hour of work followed, and then I settle back for BOOZE and bikes.

Eurosport’s coverage of the World Tracks this week has been ACE.

Chapeau!
