Deep breath…

This was a challenge. I was asked by the rather decent @1607WestEgg to record 60 seconds of audio on what South London means to me for his Resonance radio show.

Gosh.

Where to start?

It’s just a snapshot and skims over the surface. I pressed the stop button and then remembered that I hadn’t mentioned Stockwell Bus Garage.

@1607WestEgg is a very decent… egg. Danny is one of those growing online contacts across my various channels and networks, ‘facilitated’ by @SLHC.

We’ve yet to actually meet, but I’m sure that will come soon with so many connections: a love of Sunny Stockwell, a dislike for all the dog shit around the means streets of SW8, and also both being coffee / tea ponces.

Danny’s The Letter series for Resonance is well worth a listen. It’s a brave and honest listen, with almost a soap style narrative.

My take on a similar project would probably stretch to all of 60 seconds…
