Album of the Day: Solange - A Seat at the Table
This was new to me. It’s an atmospheric album. The vocals are understated, almost apologetic. This feels a little wasted. The message is far more important than the music. Decent.

The Athletic put out a great podcast about Steve Cooper, Nuno and Marinakas.
The old coach and the new coach were both in the building at the same time of Cooper’s sacking. There was a military operation in place to keep them apart.
It will be interesting when they do finally come head to head when Palace rock up at the World Famous City Ground in April.
Cooper is better off out of the madness, or “this slightly chaotic club,” as The Athletic politely put it.
It’s best not to wear green around Marinakas. I don’t think he would have been best mates with BC.
Some 2024 planning took place. I shouldn’t look that far ahead.
I got my fingers back in the game with a dent bass playing session. Jase the Bass has been on hold in recent months.
Work, life etc.
The first task was to tune up the MONSTER. I then connected it to my iPhone and recorded some rather crude baselines.
The plan is to drop these in GarageBand and put some beats behind them. Or maybe just send them on to R and ask him to work his magic.
Thursday evening rotated around Palace Vs Brighton, England t20 and DARTS.
