A rainy day for staying in and getting shit done; a day of work.
Pay to play, etc.
I had a FB notification on my iPhone. Odd. It’s still logged into the redundant account. I lost desktop access to this due to my own 2FA fuckwittery.
‘Did you attempt to login to FB? If so then accept the request.’
Oh.
It’s only been a week since I was locked out and routinely requested access again via the mobile backdoor. In that time I’ve set up a replacement account and regained control for all the pages I need for work.
And so now I have two accounts. It would look rather odd if I reverted back to the original account, having told all my friends and lovers about my 2FA fuckwittery.
I think I’ll leave the old account as a shell. If nothing else, then it props up a couple of personal pages.
I’ve managed to transfer posting privilege for these over to the new account, but not admin access. I fear that shutting down the old account will lead to the pages disappearing.
Facebook can be a head fuck.
Album of the Day: Beck - Sea Change
I wasn’t expecting this - a break-up country rock album. It wasn’t exactly the Friday I’m in Love start to the weekend that was needed. The Nigel Godrich influence comes over strong.
This could be an outtake of Radiohead songs sung by smiling Thom’s US cousin. It’s high quality, just not the type of quality that I need these days.

Buzzed: Housing, bin bag collections and Brockwell Lido all feature ahead of Lambeth Full Council meeting
A random thought occurred: when did Forest switch from the Labbats pinstripe early 90’s kit to the next iteration with the black blocks on each side?
Like I said, it was day for staying in and getting shit done.
The modern interweb of course came to my rescue. I spent a little too long lusting over some classic Forest retro kits.
Bob Elms announced an Isley’s’ four-fer for the morning, following the passing of Rudolph Isley. It led to me lining up the fantastic 3+3 album.
Elms also had a great knockabout interview with Glenn Matlock. He was a teenage Sex Pistol, dontchaknow.
His new album is a right old rollocking of a record. It includes a surprise, but ACE cover of Constant Craving.
The Window Man turned up after lunch. We’ve now got a date for the installation. Hopefully the weather will improve on the washout of today.
The Window Man departed, the weather dried up. I had a short break in the working day.
Guess what?
CHAPEAU!
I rolled out on the Bobby George BONER route. There was one thought only on my mind throughout the 30km circuit: Operation Avoid the Bloody Rain.
I made it back to base dry and energised ahead of the next shower.
We half watched the England Vs Australia football. I’ve got more interest in Notts Vs Stags tomorrow lunchtime.
Oh yeah - Dotty hissed at me today for the first time. Absolutely no idea why.
Cats are odd.
