A final run for a few months ahead of some personal business about to disrupt my routine. I decided to make the most of it and take on the Estuary Wilds 10km circuit.
This will become bogland in a couple of months when I get the all clear to start running again. Already the trail path is showing signs of dampness. It it one big downpour away from meaning that walking shoes are needed.
The fishermen were preparing their boats and nets ahead of a mid-morning high water launch. I love the estuary smell around this time of the year. Late summer still lingers in the air with the crops. There’s also a freshness to pass over the estuary stink.
Dog walkers were aplenty. Even the most anti-social person (HELLO!) can’t but fail to raise an early morning smile and a wave with such stunning scenery around.

Enjoy Yourself sums up the entire album, both in spirit and sound. It’s tremendous fun. The gang mentality comes across on each track, even though they were about to fall apart. It’s a time capsule for the in-between period of post-punk and pre-80’s pop. Do Nothing is just perfect.

I pondered buying some tickets for The Art of Banksy exhibition. But at £26 a pop? No ta. Art will eat itself, etc.
ChatGPT had an online over capacity wobbler. This was just as I needed it to complete some school work. I’ve not experienced this overload error for a few months now.
TMS gave way to watching the NZ innings on the telly as late afternoon became the evening. The Oval looked magnificent.
