The broadband was bloody slow at the start of the new week. I’ve no idea what was going off there. I couldn’t be arsed to reset the router. Half an hour later and the speeds were smoking.

The modern interweb is very odd.

I had the urge to play the Fannies Bandwagonesque. And do I did.

Woh. That sounded chuffing ACE.

I had the urge to buy the Fannies Bandwagonesque. And so I did.

Change out of £3 as well.

Album of the Day: Pet Shop Boys - Behaviour

Warm, reassuring and sounding distinctly like the Pet Shop Boys. The PSB are always the PSB, decade in, decade out. It gets a little like a deep house lite compilation at times. Not remarkable, just likeable.

To the seaside! On the Raleigh electrics!

We were both free mid-morning for a big old bicycle ride. The bloody Estuary Wilds weather was a little cooler than what was forecast.

A new route was tried, via the Beeline Velo 2. It was quiet, but took us around the back streets of Clacton.

Soon we were cycling along the seafront at Holland on Sea. The coastal cycle path was stunning. A note was made to have a shifty around Rightmove later.

I was taking in the sunshine coast views; A was more interested in looking in at the silly golf taking place as we passed through Frinton.

Luncheon was the KING OF LUNCHES at Greggs in Frinton. I then disappeared into the bloody brilliant St Helena second hand music shop.

I limited myself with my budget. I walked away with some Portishead, Primal Scream, Deacon Blue and a couple of early Dire Straits - all for a tenner.

We took the more traditional route back to Weird Wiv. An elderly lady on a tricycle was cycling in the opposite direction. Her seat was so low I thought she was riding a recumbent at first.

Monday evening was the usual shit: the horrid Hundred, and then the second half of Palace Vs Arsenal.

We had a look at the Surrey and Essex Metro Bank squads ahead of the Chelmsford jolly in the morning. Christ, the horrid Hundred has stripped the cupboard bare.

Oh - the New Cue had a half decent interview with Wreckless Eric.
