I had an eBay list clear out first thing. I tried to save a new item, but I’d already reached the limit on how many searches you can save.
It was quite liberating ditching the old content and stopping some of the daily email alerts. Most of the searches consigned to the Dustbin of the Modern Interweb were for CD’s I’ve already snaffled up.
Another BASTARD 404 error appeared across one of my sites. I was kinda expecting this. I’ve got the configuration and theme pretty consistent across a range of projects. It was inevitable that they would all fall to the .htaccess error.
My host was once again shit hot and able to help out at 6:30am. Top service.
We had to attend to a personal matter. This involved catching a cab into town. The cabbie was a fine fella. He clocked my CD collection as I opened the front door.
“You collect CD’s? ME TOO.”
The fifteen minute journey was spent exchanging buying and selling tips. It took my mind off the personal matter.
It’s been a tough few weeks. It’s hopefully now behind us with a happy ending.
To Sunny Colch! For more tattoo action!
I walked fro the Hythe into the town / city. I was caught short, and so popped into the best public toilet in CO1 - Firstsite art gallery.
My regular urinal was closed. I stumbled across some other male public toilets in the building that have remained hidden from me for the best part of thirteen years.
Art or arse, etc.
The tattoo thing was cool. My man has moved studio since the last inking session in January. He’s settled in well to his new surroundings.
He asked if I didn’t mind being filmed throughout the day. I quite enjoyed the attention.
There’s an awful lot of drawing and rubbing out with a marker pen before any ink goes on. Around an hour and a half later, and out came the BIG BOY gun.
Fuck, that hurt.
It was mainly for the outline. The finer dot to dot technique was used for the majority of the work on my sleeve.
Some drop shadow was added. This involves inking over a fresh tattoo. I was told that pain would be involved. A magic spray was added first to help reduce the pain. The magic spray had more suffering with the sting it provided.
It was a decent session. That’s almost the sleeve completed. I’ve got one more booking next month. Oh - and the two more that I made for the new year to start on the second sleeve.
Whoops.
I caught the bus back to Weird Wiv. One of the Rebels basketball males also boarded in full training kit. I was starstruck.
Back at base and a bloody phone directory had been delivered.
wtf?
I listened to the Forest preview on BBC Nottingham. We’ve got the first pre-season away at Notts tomorrow afternoon. Not long now…
It was football season weather outdoors. It felt like autumn for most of the evening.
I caught up with another classic Bastille Day on Le Tour. I decided to give Major League Cricket in the US a miss.
Oh - those Forest second and third kits that was revealed this evening are bloody awful.
