More WordFence issues first thing for Thursday. The plugin is generating an auto mail from WordPress saying that one of my sites is b0Rked. It isn’t.
The solution is to uninstall the plugin, then reinstall. But this involves tinkering around with the .htaccess file. The WordFence firewall is a fiddly fucker.
I’m outta my depth here. Thankfully my host is very good at replying to endless tech tickets.
My final run for a fortnight followed. Imminent ink action will put me out of action for a couple of weeks. I’m actually looking forward to a break from fitness.
I took on the University route. The torrential Estuary Wilds downpour last night would have made the river route a little tricky.
The wild meadow that has been left to grow in front of the Knowledge Gateway is looking decent. The campus is transformed from our time as undergraduates, erm, 33 summers ago.
A cheeky fox darted out in front of me on the Boundary Road climb. I took a soaking on the Wiv cycle path. The farmer in the nearby field had got the geometry of his big sprinkler all wrong.
Album of the Day: The Shamen - En-Tact
This was interesting as a document of early 90s rave culture, but of little value elsewhere. You wouldn’t sit down of an evening, light up the log fire and say HEY! I know what: Let’s play The Shamen’s En-Tact on vinyl whilst we wind down for the day.
I always thought it was quite a leap of faith from their psych prog early output to the dance crossover. En-Tact sounds like a step too far. It’s the soundtrack for walking around Camden Market in 1993 and having a headache.

The window fitting man rocked up mid-morning for some final measurements. The downpour yesterday was decent timing. We were able to point out where the various leaks are coming in from.
I forked out £80 for a Wiv Town season ticket renewal. It’s dgood value - but £4 more than my Dulwich season ticket.
There was time for a photo walk mid-afternoon. I strolled off along the estuary with my PEN F and Surrey ball-by-ball in the AirPods. Notts made a decent fist of controlling the game, leading to a draw.
I experimented with manual focus on the PEN F. The 17mm lens is proving to be great at macro nature shots.
The walk along the estuary and back up towards the top fields was damp with overgrown foliage. The hour and a half walk was incredibly tranquil.
I listened to the Girl Called Dusty CD back at base. What a girl! It’s a spectacular debut.
To the Table of Dreams! A returned from silly golf. I press ganged her into a game of wiff waff.
The first game was lively. It went deep into a tie breaker. I ended up losing the game 16-4. A took an overall 3-2 win.
An invite dropped for T2. I could do without this tbh. Dead Bird, Masto, Threads and now T2. I want to hedge my bets.
It’s looking pretty obvious now that Threads will emerge as the space where all the action will take place. It feels very much like 2009 all over again with new platforms emerging each week.
Thursday ended as it started. A second site fell foul to WordFence.
Arse.
27,000 steps for today.
Decent.
