Album of the Day: Queen - Queen II

Some dates dropped for the Wivenhoe Town FC pre-seasons. I can’t bloody wait for the new season to kick off for the Dragons.
Ditto Dulwich, not forgetting Forest.
Oh - and there is much excitement in our household ahead of the new season for the Essex Rebels basketball teams.
It’s all about the sport, innit.
It’s always been about the sport. And the music. My tastes and lifestyle have changed very little over the decades. It does feel like watching sport and listening to music have both reached new heights in the past few years.
The summer hasn’t quite worked out so far watching Surrey. Time and tide - plus some personal circumstances - has kept me away from The Oval.
Only two weeks and counting until WTFC starts the pre-seasons at Broad Lane.
The sporting theme continued. Wednesday morning was time spent listening to ball-by-ball commentary. Nope, not from HQ with The Test, but Surrey about to bat out for another impressive win on the other side of the river.
That didn’t quite work out as planned, fellas. Oh well. No worries. I switched to TMS before luncheon with the ‘rrey already back in the hutch.
Work was a little frustrating. I’ve got a couple of training days coming up. I’m the one that is doing the training. This is where I am most outside of my comfort zone. Some preparation took place ahead of the sessions.
If in doubt, wing it.
Some complete random modern interweb rabbit hole wanderings led me to the Art of ZTT.
I bloody loved that label. The design was as important as the music for me. It was great to see many of the call to arms collated together.
The Globe emailed ahead of the tenth season of the Wanamaker Theatre. Blimey - that decade sped by. Othello is the centre piece production for the indoor Shakespeare down at Bankside this winter.
I finally managed to get Wordfence configured exactly how I want it for a work site. The firewall is still in learning mode. Let’s hope it’s a quick learner. Deleting old 2fa accounts is scary shit.
To Alresford! …early evening. Wednesday night is walking football night. It was a mistake to wear a yellow Forest away kit. I was a magnet for the pesky little flies. I did manage to put away a penalty with ease.
I was back at base to coincide with the bloody church bells. We turned up the Test highlights to drown this out.
