I woke up to a feather bed on Monday. And some blood all over the kitchen floor.

Oh.

Dotty had fun last night.

Pigeon feathers were everywhere. There was no sign of the prey - or the hunter.

Oh dear.

A brief scroll through the various morning feeds. Ah, looky over here. DG was in Weird Wiv over the weekend.

His speedy turnaround is pretty much spot on in capturing a feel for the town. It’s quite a talent to capture a whole town on a day trip jolly.

Album of the Day: Siouxsie And The Banshees - Juju

It’s not exactly a summer smash of an album. This takes me back to dull winter nights and trying to find some escape from all the mainstream bullshit of the time. But sometimes you need a little joy. Especially on a Monday morning.

This dragged tbh. Spellbound has some great guitar work, but it wasn’t enough to give me the boost I wanted. Something of a timepiece.

I went solo on a new work project for the first time. I think I did rather well. We’re using the same tool that is becoming common place amongst most clients now. It still required a little tweaking to get the settings specific for this client.

I finally caught up with the Blurcast from the Sunny Colch Arts Centre. It’s a great listen.

The DIY approach puts across the excitement of having a major global band visiting a tiny venue and all the preparation that is involved.

Some D&B Show followed. I love the Blinded by the Light reworking by Light Mistress and Pete Cannon.

We headed out for a late afternoon game of wiff waff at The Table of Dreams. This was an extreme wind assisted knock up. The 5-2 victory in my favour was more to do with changing wind patterns than any table tennis craft.

Another Garibaldi Reds podcast dropped. It features an interview with the fella behind the Our Glorious Banners account.

I confess to being rather jealous. I’d love to be able to capture Forest home and away each week with a point and shoot. The Wivenhoe Town parallel project doesn’t hold the same glamour.

Test highlights and the second half of the England Vs North Macedonia match concluded Monday,
