An Essex Indian Summer

Essex Indian Summer

But what the chuffers are these? Giant Triffid Daisies?

We kinda remember sprinkling and scattering some wild flower seeds during the gay abandon spring months. Booze was also involved.

What is charming about the late blooming is the mid-September addition of colour to the garden when everything else is starting to look a little frayed around the edges.

Part-time bodging gardeners included.

As for the Essex Indian Summer?

Same as it ever was. We’ll be doing well if another Walton Moulton run can be squeezed in ahead of Halloween.

Golden Days, I tell you. Golden Days.
