#labourleader hustings - LIVE!
Oh lordy - At the @LambethLabour leadership hustings.

“Which ward do you represent?” enquired the squeaky clean Nu Labour lady on the door. A nod and a wink and job’s a good ‘un.
This really should be a wake for Nu Labour. Not so with @LambethLabour looming large.
Blimey. Cllr Abrams is at #labourleader. The chap is serving four month ban from party. Local party hacked his email, found nowt. V strange.
Been handed a co-op leaflet at #labourleader. All looks rather good. Doesn’t tally much with #lambethcoop.
Just seen chap from another life at #labourleader. We usually pass ships at The Oval after five pints. Didn’t have him down as a Comrade. Cripes.
Ah, and there’s the good @chukaumunna. The Streatham MP could well be active in #labourleader on next few years. Sharp suit, fella.
Tessa Jowell *sigh*
The fragrant Mss Hoey is also at #labourleader. Kicking off now, so to speak.
@ChukaUmunna is wearing a Dulwich Hamlet tie. I told you he is a fine fella.

The Tulse Hill Situation has been mentioned. @Chukaumunna has asked the Comrades to rally around Ruth Ling on Thursday.
And here come the #labourleader Famous Five. Lashings of ginger beer all round. Hurrah!
Opening speeches - lots drawn. I do like this idea of democracy in Lambeth.
Ed Miliband mentions London Living Wage. I do hope @LambethLabour is listening.
Loudest welcome for the evening nor surprisingly reserved for Diane Abbott. The girl is on fighting form.
Ed Balls bigs up importance of co-op values. @LambethLabour will like that. Ed Balls is rather, um, to the right of the party.
Bless. Andy Burnham looks like he is wearing his school shorts.
Abbott still thinks she is on sofa with Michael. Gossips with Chair. D Miliband not impressed and asks her to shut it. Sort of.
Personal dig at Diane Abbott on education of her son. *sigh* we’ve been here many times before. No real answer given, mind.
Ed Balls surprisingly good on education. Didn’t mention his own background at Nottm Boys High School however.
Not sure if it’s a #labourleader platform or Gardener’s Question Time.
All candidates conflicting on education. Private, Academies, charitable status. Lordy. It’s all about meritocracy, isn’t it?
A Q about coalitions. Steady. Not *that* coaltion but *shhh* co-ops. Cripes.
Sniggering from the floor when D Miliband said “@cllrstevereed has done a fine job with the co-op council.” I’m gagged btw.
Bliney. Brother Ed even worse informed: “Lambeth Council has worked wonders in housing.”
Ah, I get it. You put co-op prefix in front of anything and you get the votes. Explains a lot.
Diane Abbott just killed off #lambethcoop. “Great idea but we elect politicians to make decisions.” *swoon* Gonna flirt later .
This just in: Diane Abbott will cut Trident. Y’dont say. Still major *swoon* moment though.
The candidates at #labourleader remind me of merits of Tory Boy at Vauxhall hustings. @GarethWyn will know what I mean.
Good turn of phrase from Burnham: “public service vandalsim.” At least he is well read on #lambethcoop.
We’re talking about climate change. In a room that is stuffed full of portable air con machines.
There is a very real possibility here that Diane Abbott might just be a credible #labourleader candidate. Oh the possibilities…
Closing addresses from #labourleader candidates in Brixton.
Burnham said: “after 13 years of Nu Labour we need a change.” @LambethLabour Cllr’s are here btw.
Burnham actually half-decent.
Is #labourleader hustings the most appropriate environment to propose to someone?
Ah, here comes Diane *swoon*
Cripes. D Miliband just said “fairness and future.” He actually said fairness and future…
Ed Miliband fired up. He’s looking at my bird.
Always had a soft spot for the Miliband old man, back in firebrand Essex sociology days.
And that’s yer lot.

Thanks for the boos, it’s great to hear what they all say. I’m partial to Diane as well. And binning Trident is just common sense.
