Vauxhall Lavender Garden

To Vauxhall Lavender Garden!

Yep. The purple beauties should be in their full summer bloom by now.

I strolled along the Harleyford Road, and then back dow South Lambeth Road en route to Vauxhall Park. Soon I was met with a carpet of OCD planted lavenders.

BLISS.

Lavenders are the one thing that I have a track record of growing well. My own South Lambeth Road lavender garden was small, but a blooming rival for Vauxhall. It has its origins in some cheapo #lidllove plants.

Ten years later and the lavender shoots were looking like trees. Like a FOOL I decided to rip them out and start again.

Except the #lidllove had moved on from lavenders, replaced by some other nature shit that I wasn’t too great at growing.

But anyway. Back to Vauxhall.

The scent was amazing. I walked up and down, and snapped away. I had a bit of a moment as I sat on a nearby bench, took in the view and tucked into a Lidl pork pie.

LIVE THE DREAM, Jase.
