Weird Wiv Walking

The recuperation walk today involved setting off on a medium pace along the estuary. I had a joyous Garibaldi Red podcast for company.

There was a low water as I reached Quayside. It highlighted the level of silt that has built up under the jetty.

Forest podcast listening then led to The Word. I’ve been looking forward to this episode, with Hepworth and Ellen offering their thoughts on The Beatles’ Now and Then.

I liked the observation that you should approach this as Lennon solo single, with studio backing from the other three - or even the other two.

It was mind blowing to hear that George was only 26 when The Beatles split. I had yet to start a proper job by that age. I still haven’t, in all honesty.

I was a little unsteady with the walk. I pushed it a little too far for the 5km there and back hack.

The snaps were a little disappointing. I’ve got a grid view activated on the PEN-F. I had to ditch a dozen or so photos as they were showing the bloody Estuary Wilds falling off the end of the world.

Truth, fiction etc.
