Trapped on the 8am shift.
Daisy decided to sit on my lap, just as the work browser was fired up.
The MacBook was removed from my lap and placed on the arm rest. One-handed typing was tough.
The workflow soon picked up. Daisy was asked politely to move.
The rest of Wednesday was a little dreary. Gilles Peterson added some colour.
D-Mob to start the show?
That delivered a big smiley.
I took some time out over luncheon for an online reading catch up.
I’ve neglected Caught by the River of late. Sometimes this back to nature shit can grate a little when… you live in a back to nature shit setting.
But I LOVE the Shadows and Reflections stories from this time of the year.
It’s interesting to see how writers focus on the personal, yet still tell a wider narrative of the past twelve months.
Time to liven things up.
A track from the new Sleaford f-ing Mods album?
I disappeared for the veg run.
Chuff knows what we are going to do with this.
I finally finished editing the SE21 school content. I set myself a deadline not to allow this to eat into the end of the week.
More work, more changes to the workflow.
I played around a little in iTunes late afternoon. It’s been some time.
I stream all my tunes via Alexa; acast delivers podcasts.
I’ve always resisted physically putting tunes on my phone.
Where to start?
I admit to still taking an old school iPod back and forth between Sunny Stockwell and the bloody Estuary Wilds.
But you know what?
I has a quick spin through my iTunes library and ticked what I thought might be a dozen or so albums that I turn to in times of comfort.
It was a tough task.

And then an evening of work with the telly client.
