Another morning spent down at Lake Brockwell.
The water temperature is back up to 16 degrees. I should have lost the pink rubber hat. I kept it as an aquatic comfort blanket.
Sixteen lengths matched the water temperature. I could have completed the job with four more. I was caught up though in RUBBER lane with the wetsuit boys.
Sadly I didn’t have time to hang around for the Icicle social. I had a 10am work shift back at base.
Sunny Stockwell looked GLORIOUS in the S Ldn sun as I cycled back home.
An hour of work with the telly client, and then out went the shout of:
“To The Oval!”
The lido, the Oval – I’m living that 1995 DREAM all over again, Comrades.
I took a different approach to Day 3 of the Worcestershire match. I embedded myself deep within the Peter May boys.
They are a lively lot – mostly on account of their refreshments throughout the day.
Strangely I stayed sober. There’s a gathering of the old cricketing crowd for Day 4. It could get a little messy.

My Virdi was SUPERB for the ‘rrey. I’ve yet to see a hat trick on the County circuit, but yer man came close.
I had a bit of Dorset Road business on way back to South Lambeth Road.
We’ll miss it when it’s gone…
And then a full on evening of work shifts back in the flat.
