A stay in Saturday morning waiting for a couple of chairs to be delivered from up in Newcastle.
Take a seat Jase, why don’t you.
And so no Park Run, but I decided on a brisk trot around the University instead.
I picked up the pace on the turnaround point, finding my ‘zone,’ whatever that might mean.
For me it involves looking up rather than down and legging it.
I was close to a PB for the 8km route with a time of 39’10”.
It wasn’t that I was feeling particularly athletic; I had a work shift starting at 8am that I had to be back at base for.
Daisy kept me amused at the work coal face.
She took a liking to a wood pigeon twice her size that had settled on the conservatory up above.
Daisy is a worry.
The Postman Delivers:
A birthday present to myself.
Wot No #TwoStarsOnTheBadge, etc?
I’m still finding that I am being increasingly drawn back to all things Trentside.
Never say never, Jase.
But not now, anyway.
Work stopped, started and stopped throughout the morning.
I bashed out a Buzz analysis of the Lambeth runners and riders.
Anna’s Blue Nose Everton team failed to inspire us as we waited for the chairs from Newcastle.
OH HAI Chairs from Newcastle.
I’m very pleased with these. We have been trying to source something online for almost a year now.
We need a new office chair for Sunny Stockwell. The second one can be a bonus for the bloody Estuary Wilds.
Shortly before 3pm and out went the shout of:
“To Broad Lane!”
HT at Broad Lane. The mighty @wivenhoetown_fc losing only 1-0 Vs free scoring @gorlestonfc. Poor fella watching the game outside the ground fence along Brightlingsea Road. It’s the WTFC boss. Got a stadium ban, innit. pic.twitter.com/7dDujo03Ml

We haven’t watched the Dragons for a couple of months. The crap weather has played CHAOS with the fixture schedule.
It was a decent game, ending with Wivenhoe drawing 1-1 against Gorleston. I had to do a runner with ten minutes remaining for a 5pm work shift.
Attention turned to Sunny Colch for a Chronic runners and riders election piece.
And then the Man City Vs Man Utd match.
Football. Bloody hell, etc.
Football. Bloody hell.

I edited the Wivenhoe pics, and then finished off Saturday with another run of work shifts.
Paris-Roubaix in the morning.
