Monday

I awoke on Monday morning to heavy rain.

I also awoke to find that I had left my gardening shoes out overnight.

BUGGER.

Double BUGGER for being so old as to actually owning a pair of gardening shoes.

And so I made my way down to the bottom of the garden in wellies for a butt check.

The water butt is all working after the patch up over the weekend. I celebrated by emptying it, and tipping the rainwater randomly over green ‘things’ in the garden.

I had an early-ish work shift, and so no time for a swim.

I went for a run instead.

The cycle path towards the top of the town is nearing completion. It looks pretty flash to be honest.

It will be interesting to see how the traffic flow of pedestrians, cyclists and cars manages to interact once it is finally open.

The work for Monday was slightly tricky. I was publishing social content for a big client for the first time solo.

All of the assets were attached; I pondered for almost a minute before pushing the message out to the modern interweb.

BOOSH.

As simple as that.

Work continued until early evening.

I then got cravat-ed up, and buggered off to Colchester.

CRAVAT UP, Cobb

The SEXY occasion was the CBC Local Plan Committee.

Oh Joy.

I had half-promised @ColchesterViews that I would go along, seeing as though his Tollgate petition was being presented.

Christ it was DULL.

I surprised myself by staying as long as the opening Have Your Say segment, and then I did a runner.

I had far more fun back at base with my French lessons.
