Watch the Birdie
Nope – it wasn’t quite a Quayside remake of Hitchcok’s classic The Birds, but I certainly found my place in the pecking order as sun set along West Quay on Saturday.
I was in the right place, right time (as ever, with Wivenhoe…) when a couple decided to dish out some bread to the birds circling ahead. With my trusty F717 at hand, I whacked up the shutter speed, composed with the natural setting sun, and sort of got lucky.
Still looking for that elusive estuary kingfisher…
Any sightings, anyone?
